Terms of service
Draft. This text is a proposal and will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
1. Who is who
Ventiqa provides software that lets organizers manage events and sell tickets. The organizer is the seller of the ticket and the buyer's contracting party. Ventiqa acts as a technical intermediary and, where applicable, as a payment intermediary through Mollie.
2. Account and organization
An organization is created by a user who is authorized to do so. Ventiqa approves new organizations before they sell live. You are responsible for who you give access to and with which role.
3. Prices and fees
The free plan is free up to a number of paid tickets per month; above that Ventiqa charges a fee per ticket. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. All prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Ventiqa invoices monthly.
4. Payments and payouts
Payments run through Mollie. Which route applies (through the Ventiqa account or your own Mollie account) is shown in your payment settings. Refunds to buyers go back through the original payment.
5. Your obligations
You only sell tickets for events you organize yourself or are authorized to sell for. You respect buyers' rights, including clear information on price, venue and date, and you handle their data according to the data processing agreement.
6. Availability and liability
Ventiqa aims for 99.5% monthly availability, announced maintenance excluded. Ventiqa's liability is limited to the amounts you paid Ventiqa in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
7. Termination
You can cancel your subscription at any time; it runs until the end of the paid period. Ventiqa may suspend an organization in case of abuse, fraud or non-payment.
8. Governing law
Belgian law applies to these terms. Disputes are brought before the courts of Ventiqa's registered office.
